Project Scheduling by Milestones

Milestones are events representing the start or finish of major phases of work or deliverables. They are more commonly used to estimate or flag the finish rather than the start of activities.

Milestones are used for
-Planning phases of work (Top Down)
-Controlling project progress
-Communicating project deliverables and status

For example:

-Milestone A To Be Completed Feb 5
-Milestone B To Be Completed Apr 20
-Milestone C To Be Started Mar 1
-Milestone D To Be Completed May 15
-Milestone E To Be Started on July 30
